I found the in class drills and exercises the most helpful.

Kevin from 2014

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The bus trip I think was the most interesting to learning at KCP. I was able to interact with students of different levels as well as learn about a part of Japans history. I hope that there are more trips like this in the future.

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

Level 1 Survival Japanese with Saito-sensei

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The most productive and interesting point would be learning Kanji. The was that KCP teaches it to you in small amounts makes it easier to comprehend. The least would have to be the listening kaiwa at the end of each chapter before the homework. It was helpful, but difficult.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found the in class drills and exercises the most helpful. They were fun, and at the same time I was learning. In addition, the in class pronunciation worksheets.

Testimonials

Not only did I have a great time at KCP, but the improvement I’ve witnessed in my Japanese proficiency is astounding. I still can’t quite believe I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Although I’m sad that I’m leaving by the end of this term, I’ll always have fond memories of my time here. I am truly grateful to all the staff, especially the instructors, as well as my fellow classmates for making my time here exceptional. I highly and without hesitation recommend KCP International Japanese Language School to anyone looking to learn Japanese.
